Makita is the innovation leader in brushless motor technology, and the XT499T combo kit provides BL Brushless Motor tools that deliver longer run times, increased power and longer tool life.
The XT449T includes a brushless hammer driver-drill that delivers a full 1,090 in-lbs. of torque, a brushless 3-speed impact driver with 1,550 in-lbs. of torque and a brushless 6-1/2 in. circular saw with a full 5,000 RPM for faster cutting and ripping. The kit also includes a high-luminance single LED flashlight with 200 lumen output. It’s a one-stop solution for many drilling, driving, fastening and cutting applications. The XT499T kit features 2 18V LXT 5.0 Ah Lithium-Ion battery packs which reach full charge in only 45 minutes on the included Rapid Optimum Charger for less downtime and increased productivity.
The XT449T is part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries. Makita’s LXT batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time on the charger.
For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection computer controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows Star Protection equipped tools and batteries to exchange data in real time to monitor conditions during use, protecting against overloading, over-discharging and overheating.
